Separate sealed bids for the construction of the Coos Head Facility Sanitary Sewer System, consisting of approximately 3,500 lineal feet of gravity sewer main, a 200-250 gpm wastewater lift station, new utility feed, and 1450 feet of pressure sewer to be received by Francis Someday, Tribal Administrator at the tribal offices located at 1245 Fulton Ave., Coos Bay, OR 97420 until 11:00 am on July 22nd, 2010 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after 11:00 am will not be accepted.

Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the Issuing Office of Stuntzner Engineering, Monday through Friday unless it is a district holiday. Stuntzner Engineering will not mail bid documents “overnight” or by “express” means. Bids will be mailed to potential bidders be by certified mail only. The bid document may also be downloaded from Stuntzner Engineering: ashleyoneil@stuntzner.com. Bidders requesting printed documents will be required to pay a fee of $60 per set of printed documents.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the project site, located in Charleston, OR at 9:00 am on July 14th, 2010 as the site has restricted access.
At the time of the bid opening, bidder must be registered for the appropriate category with the State of Oregon Construction Contractor’s Board to be considered.
Bid security in the amount of five (5%) of the total amount of the base bid is required. Bid security must accompany the sealed bid. Bid security shall be in the form of a bid bond issued by a surety company acceptable to the Confederated Tribes or a certified check or cashier’s check in the amount indicated above. The bid security shall be forfeited if bidder fails to execute the contract promptly and properly if awarded.

No bids will be considered unless fully completed in the manner described in the bid documents and on the proper forms included in the bid document. The Confederated Tribes reserve the right however to accept minor informalities.
