Timber sale field layout for 13 units in the Tongass National Forest, 25 miles south of Petersburg, Alaska on Mitkof Island.  The work included forest engineering required for implementation of the Woodpecker Area Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and Record of Decision.  Work products included logging system analysis, skyline corridors, landing and road layout, unit boundary and stream marking, unit traversing, designation of leave tree areas and mapping of layouts.
