SEF provided logging engineering and timber cruising services on 2,200 acres of regeneration cuts and thinnings on ODF land.  We worked cooperatively with ODF personnel to determine the best long-term road system and logigng plan while protecting resources.  SEF then conducted skyline profiles to confirm the adequacy of the logging system and resource protection.  Roads were traversed, designed and costed using Astoria District&&\'s procedures and formats.  Boundaries were posted and mapped using orthophotos.  The last phase of this project was the timber cruise design and preparation of a brief written logging plan.  Maps were prepared utilizing GPS.
