SEF has over 40 years of experience in forest management, timber cruising and appraisal. We manage thousands of acres of timber throughout Oregon and Washington for private and public ownerships. Our experience in log and timber marketing, contracting for road construction and timber harvesting, timber sales and managing sorts for the log export and domestic markets, allows us to keep on top of market conditions and values. Forest management services include long-term management for landowners where services include inventory, management plans, operational planning, reforestation, stand management and associated contract documents and administration. Our cruisers and timber appraisers are familiar with and accustomed to working with export log sorts, grades and values. SEF has been selected to provide “on-call” cruising services for Willamette Industries, Weyerhaeuser Company and Georgia-Pacific. Our work is widely accepted in the industry and recognized for its quality.

GIS MAPPING/ANALYSIS
- PC-based operating system using Arc-CAD software capable of creating maps utilizing existing coverages to perform analysis and mapping.
- We currently provide Geographic Information System (GIS) services for forestry and civil engineering applications. Using the industry standard, PC ArcView, PC-GPS and ArcCAD software, we display, query and analyze both spatial and attribute data. Related services include cartographic database creation, raster to vector conversion and digital image processing.
